What is AAHA?

AAHA Certified Since 1984

Bloom Animal Hospital is proud to be the first animal hospital in Livonia, MI certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The AAHA certification utilizes an independent evaluation team to come and inspect participating hospitals every three years on more than 900 standards of care. This process helps us become a better quality hospital and provide the highest level of care to our community.

Bloom Animal Hospital believes our clients deserve the best quality care and being AAHA certified is a great way to continually raise the level of care we provide. It also serves as a benchmark that our patients can look for and easily understand and appreciate.

AAHA is a nonprofit veterinary association that provides resources to professionals in the industry and is the only accrediting body for small animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. Established in 1933, AAHA includes member services, professional development, educational opportunities and more. Bloom Animal Hospital shares in the organization’s passion for quality pet health care and we are proud to be an accredited member.
